On Thursday morning, news emerged online that Soundgarden and Audioslave singer Chris Cornell was found dead (here). Reports now have it that there is a probability that the singer took his life.
Detroit Police told the BBC that Chris Cornell's death is being investigated as a possible suicide.A report from Detroit’s WXYZ says Cornell’s body was discovered on the bathroom floor of his hotel room at MGM Grand Detroit after a show Wednesday night. This was after Cornell’s wife allegedly called a family friend to check on the singer .
TMZ is reporting that when the family friend forced his way into Cornell's room, he found him with a band around his neck. There was reportedly no blood at the scene and police suspect it's suicide.
