2016 has been an amazing year and filled
with controversies that has made the headlines this year. The year
kicked off in a remarkable way with one of the biggest beef stories of 2016 happening on the first day of the year at the Headies Award between Olamide and Don Jazzy.

Another controversy that trailed the gossip
blogger is her spat with Wizkid. Linda shared a news that Wizkid was
being evicted from his Lekki home which was rented. She also revealed that Wizkid lied about owning the house and also purchasing his Porsche car outrightly.

Makinwa had a somewhat dramatic 2016 as she was also in the news for
the wrong reasons when she was fired by her vlog viewers who didn’t agree with some of the advises she dished out.
First, it started with her misconstrued
advice to single young ladies, then her releasing a tell-all book, “On
Becoming”, where she talks about getting a sexually transmitted disease from her husband, her husband’s mistress and her failed marriage.
Her biggest controversial moment came when
she opened up to bleaching her skin after denying it in the past
severally. She also launched a book when she made several shocking revelations. She got chastised when she revealed she bleached her skin because her ex-hubby, Maje Ayida was into fair women.
4. Toyin Aimakhu Vs Seun Egbegbe
Actress Toyin Aimakhu is one of the top
controversial celebrities of 2016. The actress and her former
boyfriend, Seun Egbegbe made headlines when they were going back and
forth with their relationship and throwing tantrums towards each other.

marital drama. Seun reportedly seized her phones at a movie location

This year alone saw Olunloyo in the limelight more times than normal. From calling Jide Kosoko a ritualist who killed his wife, Henrietta Kosoko, to fat shaming Eniola Badmus and trolling Dayo Amusa, Olunloyo was a hit in the controversial department this year.
